“…Jesus of Nazareth…who went about doing good…”   Acts 10:38

Jesus worked everywhere, anointed by God the Father with the Holy Spirit and with power.  He is our best example of public relations work. He “went about” doing good giving God the glory. Jesus ministered to individuals such as the woman at the well, someone He really wasn’t supposed to be seen with, according to the cultural customs of His time. The account can be found in John 4: 1-42. He ministered to children at a seaside Matthew 19:13-15, He ministered to an older woman in the middle of a busy crowded street, Mark 5:24-34. Jesus preached from a mountain to multitudes Matthew 5-7.

Not only did He teach a multitude in a desert place, Luke 9: 10-17, He healed those in need of restoration then fed the over 5,000 in attendance with two fish and five loaves of bread.  Jesus taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, John 18:20. And He also ministered in homes; one example is given in Luke 7:36-50. “An there are many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”  John 21: 25.

My point may be becoming clear. Jesus “went about” doing good. He ministered to different people, large and small groups, individuals, at weddings, at funerals, on mountains, by the sea, in desert places, busy streets, temples, synagogues, and in homes. Went about doing good! What an excellent example He left us to follow. We can be living public relations billboards for Jesus, as we go about doing good giving God the glory. Matthew 5: 16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
